UNDATED (WHTC) - As we approach the Monday deadline to file taxes, President Obama used his weekly address on Apr. 14, 2012 to push for Congress to pass the Buffett Rule. It's legislation that would require wealthy Americans to pay at least the same percentage of income in taxes as middle class families. Congressman Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph) used the GOP's weekly media address to attack the Administration's energy policies.
It was Upton's first such message as the official GOP spokesman since the Clinton Administration days of the 1990's, and the first for a Lakeshore Congressman since Pete Hoekstra responded on May 1, 2010.
