The Red Wings badly need a win tonight at home against the Predators with Detroit trailing Nashville 2-games-to-1 in their first round Stanley Cup playoff series.

The Predators took Game 3 on Sunday at Joe Louis Arena with a 3-to-2 victory. Detroit wants to get off to a hot start tonight after losing 4 straight face-offs early in Sunday’s contest. The Red Wings also have to spend less time in the box. They were the least penalized team in the regular season but have 20 so far in this series.

After tonight, Game Five is back in Nashville but not until Friday night.
