LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Rick Snyder is on a Department of Defense mission in Afghanistan.  Until Wednesday, the trip was kept secret.  Geralyn Lasher, a Snyder spokeswoman, says it is not unusual for DOD missions to be kept confidential.  Snyder is accompanied on this trip by Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee and South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard.
