FABIUS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO) -- The search for a St. Joseph County woman has ended sadly with the discovery of her body along a wooded trail, about a half mile from her home. Joanne Holden was described as an active and energetic 84-year-old who liked to take long walks in the woods.
They say she hadn’t been seen since Saturday, but wasn’t reported missing until Monday. They had been searching for her ever since. It was a State Police Helicopter that spotted her body yesterday. They don’t suspect foul play, but an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
