LANSING, MI (WTVB) - Michigan residents with concealed carry permits may soon be able to carry tasers.
Legislation to lift the ban on stun guns, which has been in place since 1976 and would allow for citizens to carry a taser, has passed the State House. Under the three-bill package now passed, Michigan residents who have a concealed handgun license would be able to carry a taser. The legislation was amended by a House committee and will go back to the Senate for final approval before being sent to Governor Snyder for consideration.
