DETROIT (WKZO) -- In Thursday's "Detroit News" Vice President Biden is quoted saying, "If you are looking for a bumper sticker to sum up how President Obama has handled what we inherited, it's pretty simple: Osama bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive."  Excerpts from a Thursday morning speech given at New York University include comments about the auto industry.

In recent weeks, Biden has talked numerous times about the auto bailout and the resurgence of the auto industry as a result.  He says Mitt Romney's plan would have had the opposite effect.
