AFGHANISTAN (WKZO) -- Michigan Senator Carl Levin is over in Afghanistan. The Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee went there over the weekend to get a firsthand look at what is going on over there, in the wake of a series of incidents that have soured U.S.-Afghan relations.
He will be conferring with officials, U.S. military leaders and soldiers from Michigan. Of course his itinerary is top secret. He is expected to return to the U.S. this week, after a stop at NATO Headquarters in Belgium.
