COLDWATER (WTVB) In his effort to travel to all 83 Michigan counties during his first term, Governor Rick Snyder made stops in both Branch and Hillsdale counties Friday.  In Coldwater, Snyder stopped for lunch at Jeannie’s Diner downtown, then visited the H.C. Starck plant on Coldwater’s south side. During his luncheon stop, the governor said he’s finding an increasing optimism in the state. 

The governor also said when Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney campaigns inMichiganbefore the November election, he hopes he will continue to hammer the issue of creating more jobs.
