COLDWATER (WTVB) - “Youth….Stars on the Rise” is the theme of the 83^rd annual Branch County Fair and temperatures will be on the rise again in time for this afternoon’s annual Fair parade through downtown Coldwater. Another 90 degree day is in store with nearly six dozen entries signed up for this year’s event, nearly a third of them political in nature to no one’s surprise with the August primary elections next Tuesday. The formation of the parade begins at the fairgrounds at 3:30 this afternoon and about a half hour later, the line will leave for downtown with 4:30 the estimated time of arrival for the showcase trek down U.S. 12. The official fair opening is at Noon tomorrow, except the midway and then the crowning of the 4-H King and Queen happens Sunday evening at seven o’clock at theDearthCenter.
