KALAMAZOO (WTVB ) - “Fifi” the B-29 has flown into Kalamazoo for another visit. It is the last of its kind and it is sitting at the Air Zoo for the next two days, offering tours and rides to those interested in the history of war and aviation.  It arrived on the 67^th anniversary of the dropping of a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, which its sister-ship, the Enola Gay delivered, soon after convincing the Japanese to surrender.  The Enola Gay is enshrined in the Smithsonian.

Rides on “Fifi”, the last flying B-29 cost $595.  It’s how the non-profit that owns the plane pays to keep the bomber flying.  Two flights go up in the late afternoons.
