LANSING (WTVB ) - After winning the nomination for the U.S. Senate, Pete Hoekstra picked up the endorsements of his opponents.  At a unity gathering in Lansing the former U.S. Representative from Holland met former Kent County Judge Randy Heckman and Clark Durant of Grosse Pointe.  Hoekstra will go head to head with Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow in the November general election.  Stabenow is running for her third term in the Senate and currently has the edge in the polls and in campaign fundraising.
