Austin Jackson added an inside-the-park home run and also tripled, while Miguel Cabrera had two hits, an RBI and scored a run for Detroit, which snapped a brief two-game skid. Max Scherzer struck out eight over six innings of two-run ball as he improved his mark to 11-and-6. Josh Hamilton homered and Elvis Andrus singled in a run for the Rangers, who have dropped three-of-five. Scott Feldman allowed four runs in five-and-two-thirds as he fell to 6-and-7 with his first loss since June 14th.
