Lawyers to narrow down jurors in Kilpatrick case

DETROIT (WKZO) -- Lawyers in the City Hall corruption case against former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick are expected to start eliminating prospective jurors this week.

Roughly 400-would-be jurors filled out a 25-page questionnaire earlier this month that probed for prejudices and hardships that would prevent them from hearing the case.  Lawyers are expected to begin eliminating jurors based on their answers Tuesday.

The corruption case, involving Kilpatrick and three others, is scheduled to get underway September 6th.
