UNDATED (WTVB) - While gas prices have been dropping here, the rest of the nation is seeing the highest prices they have ever seen in late August at $3.72 a gallon, a cent higher than the previous high mark set in 2008. Tom Kloza at the Oil Price Information Service says we won’t get a break until sometime in September. He says after Labor Day it’s no longer necessary to use the expensive summer blends. He is predicting that later this year we will be paying between $3.00 and $3.50 a gallon.
