COLDWATER (WTVB) - A pair of Branch County scrap tire recycling events are set to happen next month. They’re scheduled for the second and fourth Saturdays of September and are sponsored by Branch County government and the Southwest Michigan Solid Waste Consortium. A scrap tire grant from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality was awarded for the events. It’s a residential only program with businesses not invited to turn in their scrap tires. It happens from 9 a.m. to Noon on September 8^th and September 22^nd with the collection site the Human Services building north of Coldwater onMarshall road.
