COLDWATER (WTVB) - Scheduling work schedules around school schedules can sometimes be difficult this time of year. The Coldwater School District is helping those parents who need help before school or after school with a great option for childcare, The Kids Club. The mission of this program is to create an activity-based, social program that encourages physical exercise, creativity and social interaction before or after school hours. This program is in its second year and located at Lincoln Elementary School. It is open to all Coldwater elementary school students in grades Young 5’s through 5th grade. The morning session opens at 6 a.m. until the start of school. The afternoon session begins with the dismissal of school until 6 p.m. Transportation will be provided to and from the child’s school to Kids Club in the morning and the afternoon. Payment procedure is based on a pre payment system where parents pay each Monday for child care services rendered that week, with a $25 enrollment fee. Parents will need to choose a payment plan at the time of registration. Cost is based on the number of hours the child will be in the program each week, with as little as $12.50 a week for up to five hours and $62.50 for up to 25 hours a week. For more information, please call Coldwater Community Schools at 517-279-5910 or go to the Coldwater Community Schools website at www.ColdwaterSchools.org.
