KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette spoke at a special Gerald R. Ford tribute luncheon Monday afternoon in Tampa, Florida. WKZO host Jay Morris is in Tampa all week covering the convention and spoke with Schuette following the luncheon.
Schuette says "we had a fired up delegation of Michigan delegates from across the great lakes state that are committed to electing Mitt Romney as the next president of the United States." The luncheon however was deemed "a portrait of integrity and it was all about Gerald R. Ford, who came into the nation's presidency in a challenging time and set an example...a standard."
