LANSING (WKZO) - Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is appealing a ruling that overturned the voter-approved state constitutional amendment banning affirmative action in college admissions and government hiring. Schuette is appealing the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court, saying the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals is misapplying equal-protection precedents in the case. Voters approved the ban in the 2006 election, and it was tossed on November 15th
