Republican State Representative Ken Kurtz of Coldwater today was appointed to chair a special panel to mentor incoming lawmakers as they transition into the busy schedule of being a state lawmaker.
Kurtz, who is entering his third and final term as the state representative for the 58th District, was chosen to share the knowledge and insight he has gained over the last four years with new lawmakers. Kurtz says he has learned a lot inLansingduring his two terms and looks forward to sharing his knowledge with the new lawmakers.
According to Kurtz, there are many different responsibilities that come along with being a state representative and he says he’s honored to be chosen to help his new colleagues make the transition.
