The experts say we could be in for a period of lower gas prices. Triple A of Michigan reports that the average price statewide is down 12.3 cents from last week, at $3.45 a gallon
Tom Kloza at the oil price information agency says all the signs suggest that gas prices should continue falling, with all refineries on line, demand slowing for the winter, and domestic crude at a low price.
GasBuddy.com says a gallon of unleaded averages three dollars and 36 cents in Grand Rapids. A week ago, area drivers were paying an average of three-53 a gallon.
He says the same may not be true of Heating oil. He says the type of molecule involved in that fuel is very popular around the world right now.
