More changes for the Lion’s unsettled receiving corps. Wednesday, the club signed former Utica Eisenhower receiver Lance Long. He played for Detroit in the preseason and has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Lions yesterday also placed receivers Titus Young and Ryan Broyles on injured reserve. Meanwhile, safety Louis Delmas, defensive tackle Corey Williams and offensive lineman Gosder Cherilus missed practice because of various injuries.
Detroit plays at Green Bay on Sunday night. Week 14 in the NFL season kicks off tonight as the AFC-West champion Denver Broncos look for their eighth consecutive victory while trying to give the Raiders a sixth straight loss when the two teams meet in Oakland.
