19th-ranked Michigan State cruised past Arkansas-Pine Bluff 76-to-44 last night at the Breslin Center. M-S-U held the visiting Golden Lions scoreless for nearly 10 minutes to start the game and the Spartans were ahead 30-to-4 with just over 3 minutes left in the first half.
Gary Harris posted 13 points for Michigan State while Travis Trice had 12 points and 5 assists to help the Spartans improve to 7-and-2. M-S-U stays home to host Loyola-Chicago on Saturday. Elsewhere last night, the Detroit Titans beat the visiting Toledo Rockets 79-to-73.
