LANSING (WKZO) -- Despite loud protests by union members and Democrats, the Michigan Legislature has passed right-to-work legislation for the private sector. The House passed the bills late Thursday afternoon, while the Senate passed the legislation several hours later.
Governor Snyder this week had a change of heart on the legislation, which for two years he had said he did not want on the agenda at the Capitol. Everything changed earlier this week when the Michigan Chamber of Commerce issued its endorsement of right-to-work.
