LANSING (WKZO) -- The Lansing Fire Department reportedly inspected the State Capitol Building over the weekend and established its capacity at around two-thousand. That’s far fewer than are expected to show up Tuesday to protest, but far bigger than the number in the Capitol when the public was purged from the building last Thursday.  It took a Judge’s order to reopen it.

The ACLU has reportedly asked that Governor Rick Snyder veto any bills that were approved during the five hours when the Capitol was closed to the public, and at least one lawsuit has already been filed claiming it was a violation of the open meetings act.
