State and Coach Tom Izzo should learn a week from today if the Spartans get a commitment from the current National Gatorade Player of the Year.

Chicago Simeon 6-foot-8 senior Jabari Parker announced Wednesday that he will make his decision public on December 20^th where he will attend school next year. His final list of choices includes M-S-U,  Duke,  BYU,  Florida and Stanford.

Jabari’s father, Sonny Parker, a former NBA player, told USA Today yesterday that he isn’t sure which way his son is leaning, but he’s guessing it’s between Michigan State and Duke
