COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - With Christmas just around the corner, motorists are getting a gift at the gas pumps. Gas prices continue to drop around the area, with most stations across Branch County at $3.30 to $3.39 per gallon. Prices in the Kalamazoo area are in the $3.40 gallon range.

Pat Dehaan at Gas Buddy-dot-com says wholesalers and retailers have been lagging behind the drop in the markets and are catching up.   He says prices will drop another dime maybe between now and the holidays.

Some experts say they may drop a little more after Christmas as winter blends are cheaper to make, demand will drop even further and some parts of the country will see gas prices below $3 a gallon.
