Bangor, MI (WKZO) Good news on the jobs front in Kalamazoo County. Bangor based Getman Corporation has announced plans to sink 5.5-million dollars and create 150 new jobs over the next few years to build a new plant in Comstock. The firm manufactures custom mobile equipment for underground mining.  This week it’s received a 300-thousand dollar grant from the MEDC to help fund the expansion.  

The firm says it has outgrown its facility in Bangor, and had looked at some locations in Indiana but decided to stay in Southwest Michigan.
