LANSING, MI (WTVB) - Clinics that perform abortions in Michigan are bracing for possible stronger restrictions. The state Senate voted yesterday to pass a bill that would force abortion clinics to have the same licensing standards as free-standing surgical clinics and other added regulations.

The House passed a similar bill last week, and it plans to merge the bills sometime yet this week.
