bowl season gets underway this weekend with the first two of 35 games during the holidays. Tomorrow afternoon, it starts with Arizona against Nevada in the New Mexico Bowl and then Toledo takes on Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The bowl schedule picks up in earnest with 16 games between Christmas and New Year's. The BCS National Championship features number-one Notre Dame against Alabama on January 7th.
