Senators say new film on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden needs warning

It may not be entirely accurate but then its a movie and it has gotten a lot of Oscar buzz.

WASHINGTON D.C. (WKZO) -- The phrase “its only a movie” comes to mind. The CIA and three U.S. Senators are not happy with the water boarding scenes depicted in “Zero Dark Thirty”, the film that purports to tell the story of the search and ultimate demise of Osama Bin Laden.

Michigan’s Carl Levin, Arizona’s John McCain and California’s Diane Feinstein say the producers should say it’s a dramatization, and that torture did not generate the information that led to his location. They have seen the real intelligence and that’s now how it happened.

They aren’t saying that torture didn’t take place during the Bush administration, only that it didn’t produce much useful information. The film apparently suggests it did.
