COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - In high school basketball Friday night, both the Coldwater boys and girls varsity teams fell to Marshall.  At home, the boys dropped a 46-30 decision to the Redhawks. Jordan Eddy was our McDonald’s Player of the Game with 19 points. He was the only Cardinal player in double figures.  Coldwater won the JV game 48-41 in overtime, but lost the freshman contest 30-28. 

The Lady Cardinals lost on the road at Marshall 54-33. MacKenzie Galloway had 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 blocks, while Meghan Schorfhaar had 8 points and 6 rebounds. The lady Cards won the JV game 44-37 and the freshman game 46-22. 

The basketball teams are off until they host the Holiday Hoops Tournament December 27 and 28.
