DETROIT (WTVB) - Detroit's Calvin Johnson will continue to pursue Jerry Rice's single season receiving record this evening as the Lions host the Atlanta Falcons.  While Detroit holds the series lead 26-11, the Falcons are one of the top teams in the NFL with a 12-2 record, while sputtering Lions are 4-10.

Johnson needs 182 yards to tie Rice.  If he doesn't get the record against Atlanta, he will still have the opportunity as Detroit hosts Chicago Sunday, December 30 in their final game of the season.
