COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - A lot of wind, but not near as much snow as originally predicted Friday here in Branch County  from a winter storm system that paralyzed some portions of the Midwest.  At one point over 144 thousand Consumers Energy customers were affected by weather related power outages.  None of those reports came from Branch County.  And now with this storm system passed, it doesn’t look like any other measurable snow before Christmas.
