LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan State Police say the number of traffic deaths were down during the 2012 "Lifesaver Holiday Weekend" from Friday, December 21st through Sunday, December 23rd.  Four people lost their lives in Michigan this year compared to eight in 2011.  Police say alcohol was involved in three of the accidents, and three of those killed were not buckled up.
