BRONSON, MI (WTVB) - The death of a 5-month old girl is under investigation in Branch County. The Bronson Police Department says it was called at 8:15 Saturday morning to the Brookfield Apartments on Wayne Street to check out a report of a child not breathing.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Diane Perez was unresponsive and with the help of Bronson firemen, CPR was started. The child was rushed to the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater and later transferred by Aero-Med to Bronson hospital in Kalamazoo, where she died Sunday evening.
