UNDATED -- It didn’t take long for the negative ads to show up on television. The strangest may be one called “Rombo” which has a Romney Lookalike chasing Santorum cutouts around a warehouse with a gun that slings mud.
The Romney PAC, Restore Our Future is reportedly spending 700-thousand dollars on an attack ad focusing on Santorum’s congressional voting record. There are sources suggesting that could be just a downpayment on what they will eventually spend in Michigan.
