UNDATED, MI (WKZO)  --  If history is any guide, almost anything can happen in a Michigan Primary, and that’s why the vote next Tuesday has become a national story.  The Polls continue to show the race between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum tightening up in Michigan.  The latest poll, conducted by the Mitchell Research Group for the MIRS news agency gives Romney a 2 point edge, 32 to 30%, but remains within the 4% margin of error.

Romney held a town forum in on the north side of Detroit yesterday.  Santorum spent yesterday and will spend today in Arizona, where tonight’s CNN Debate will begin at 8PM our time.  Romney is due back in Michigan on Friday to address the Detroit Economic club and there are rumors of a bus tour thru West Michigan.

Santorum has no events listed beyond tonight’s debate at his website.  Newt Gingrich says he has no plans to be in Michigan before the primary. Presidential candidate Ron Paul is going to be touring west and mid Michigan this weekend.  The Texas Republican Congressman announced he'll be stopping in Hudsonville at The Pinnacle Center on Highland Drive on February 26th.  He'll also make a stop the next day at Concert Auditorium on MSU's campus in East Lansing. Tuesday is the vote.
