KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The National Transportation Safety Board report assessing the causes of, and damages from, the 2010 oil spill near Kalamazoo is delayed. The incident reportedly resulted in the release of more than 800-thousand gallons of oil into Talmadge Creek and nearby Kalamazoo River.
The report had been scheduled for this week, but release is now projected to be sometime in the fall. Meanwhile the pipeline's owner, Calgary, Alberta-based Enbridge, Inc., says its own investigation won't be completed until after the NTSB report is filed.
