The New England Patriots and New York Giants will meet in the Super Bowl for the second time in five seasons with both teams moving on Sunday after conference championship game victories
The Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens, 23-to-20, in the AFC title Game and the Giants edged the San Francisco 49ers, 20-17 in overtime to win the NFC title. Tom Brady's one-yard touchdown was the difference for New England, coming before Raven’s kicker Billy Cundiff missed a 32-yard field goal with 11 seconds left.
The NFC crown also came down to a kick, Lawrence Tynes' 31-yard field goal in O-T after the 49ers fumbled a punt. The Patriots lost to the Giants in 2008, but will get a chance for revenge February 5 in Indianapolis.
