Coldplay has announced the addition of an extra date to its North American tour in support of the group's current album, Mylo Xyloto.  The band will now play The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, MI on August 1.   Pre-sale tickets for the newly-added show will be available exclusively to American Express cardholders via Ticketmaster on January 30.  Tickets will be made available to the general public a few days later on February 4.
