Veteran folk-rock act America will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Monday at 11:30 a.m. PT.  The duo, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell , will be on hand for the unveiling, which will take place at 6752 Hollywood Boulevard outside of the Musician's Institute.  Actor/musicians Billy Bob Thornton and John Stamos will serve as guest speakers at the ceremony.

The following evening, America will take part in a performance-and-Q&A event at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, in conjunction with the annual Grammy Week festivities.  Beckley and Bunnell also have more than 20 U.S. tour dates scheduled for 2012.  Check out their complete itinerary at America's official website, VenturaHighway.com .
