COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued yesterday afternoon for parts of southwest and southeast Branch County and there were a few reports of intense rains and a few trees and limbs brought down by gusty winds. But for the most part over the weekend, the showers were brief and widespread.
Most are hoping that the month of July will be closer to normal when it comes to rain. For the month of June, Coldwater’s rainfall total was 63-hundredths of an inch, well below the average of three-and-a-half inches. Sunday’s official precipitation total in Coldwater was just under a tenth of an inch.
