The Red Wings made a few moves Sunday during the first full day of free agency. They signed goalie Jonas Gustavsson to a two-year, $3-million deal. Detroit also added Jordin Tootoo to a three-year, $5.7-million contract.
Detroit welcomed back Mikael Samuelsson to a two-year, $6-million deal. He was in Motown from 2005-to-2009. The Red Wings also officially signed forward Damien Brunner to an entry-level deal worth as much as $925-thousand. The most sought after free agent, New Jersey Devils winger Zach Parise could make a decision on where he will play next year as soon as today. The 27-year-old has reportedly received offers from Detroit Pittsburgh, Minnesota, and Philadelphia. Sources say a return to the Eastern Conference champion Devils has also not been ruled out. Also on the Red Wings wish list is Nashville defenseman Ryan Suter
