The former Sonny With a Chance star and her husband Chris Carney are set to become parents to a baby boy in the coming weeks, and they gathered their loved ones for a special bash.

Thornton and her guests, including actress Cassie Scerbo, ate cake and candy at the blue-themed party, and the couple was delighted with the turnout.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, Thornton writes, ""ChrisGCarney (and) I had the most amazing and beautiful baby shower ever...! Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of it!""

But the 26 year old admits she is already regretting her choice of footwear, adding, ""Wore heels yesterday for my baby shower and now I CAN'T MOVE! I wanted to look pretty.""
