NEW BUFFALO (WKZO) -- The Four Winds Casino has announced another big name performer for its new Silver Creek Event Center.

Smokey Robinson will be playing there on August 31st. The new event center's opening was just celebrated last week, and announced acts for the place already include Rod Stewart and the Wallflowers.

Tickets for the Smokey Robinson show will be available at Ticketmaster starting on July seventh, with a starting price of 45 dollars. The new Silver Creek Event Center is a 15 hundred seat facility that will have a variety of uses, says the Pokagon Tribe.

The 70 thousand square foot center will also host community meetings, special events, and banquets. It opened Friday along with the new hotel tower of the Four Winds Casino.
