FLINT (WKZO) -- Michigan State Police and the Flint Police Department are launching a new partnership aimed at trying to knock down the high crime rate in the city. The partnership is the first of its kind in Michigan and will bring eight state police troopers in to work with the detective bureau. The officers will be focused on major crimes and the move nearly doubles the size of the Flint PD's detective bureau.
