CHESHIRE TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- An alcohol fueled romp in a go-cart in Cheshire Township has apparently ended in tragedy. A Collision between a car and a go-cart at 1 this morning at 37th and 111th Ave. has left the operator of the go-cart, 43-year-old Junior Lee Smith from Allegan dead.

Allegan County Deputies say the go-cart had no lights or reflectors. Police say alcohol was a factor, but not apparently on the part of the 28 year old automobile driver who struck the go-cart.

It remains under investigation but no charges are being sought
