COLDWATER (WTVB) Despite the heat, volunteers will continue work today cleaning up the Sauk River through Coldwater.  Crews with chainsaws worked yesterday to trim back limbs and logs that were in or hanging over the river.  Today volunteers will work on picking up debris along the river bank and even in the river itself.  They’ll also identify larger items that might need to be removed later.

The Sauk River clean-up is being coordinated by the Branch County Conservation District, along with the Branch County Drain Commission, Natural Resources Conservation Services, and the city of Coldwater.
