Recently retired Red Wing’s captain and future Hall of Famer Nicklas Lidstrom will still be calling his native Sweden home but he also will still be spending time in Detroit. Lidstrom has decided to remain with the team in an as yet unnamed front office role. A number of past Red Wing players, including Kris Draper, Chris Chelios, and Jiri Fisher, have positions in the front office.
