Piston’s first round draft choice center Andre Drummond contributed 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots as Detroit posted a 76-to-73 victory over the Utah Jazz in their Orlando Summer League opener. Leading the way for the Pistons against the Jazz was one of their second round draft picks this year, guard Kim English, who scored a team high 18 points. Meanwhile, ESPN reports the Brooklyn Nets could land Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard as part of a four-team trade. According to the report, the teams are optimistic that the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers will help facilitate a trade. As many as 13 players and four first-round draft picks are involved in the proposed trade. ESPN also reports the Charlotte Bobcats could replace the Cavs in the complex deal.
